Hey there! As someone who travels often, I recently found myself in town for a month and wanted to keep up my fitness routine. That’s when I discovered the Cottonwood Recreation Center, and let me tell you, it was a game changer!

Since I was only here for a short time, I looked into the membership options. They offer a senior 55+ monthly membership for about $28, or a 10 pack for the same price, which is perfect for someone like me who might be here longer than just a few days. If you're in town for a few days, you can skip the membership hassle and just go for a daily pass, which is only $5 and offers all the same benefits. Super convenient! They also offer family and couples rates for a great price. They have a lot to offer all age groups, including a rock climbing area, full basketball court and fun pool slides and more.
The daily pass is a fantastic option if you're just passing through. You can pay at the front desk and jump straight into your workout or swimming session without any long-term commitment. It feels so refreshing to know that I can enjoy access to great facilities without the pressure of a membership commitment.

Walking into the Cottonwood Recreation Center, I was impressed right off the bat. They’ve got it all: swimming pools, a full gym, and various classes like yoga and spin. Since I was trying to experiment with my workouts while traveling, I tried a couple of classes during my week here, and they were a blast! The instructors were welcoming and offered great modifications to suit different fitness levels.
The vibe in the center is really friendly, perfect for someone like me who doesn’t usually stick around long enough to develop a routine. I met some cool locals who shared tips about the area, making it feel a bit more like home even if I was just there temporarily.

The facilities at Cottonwood are impressive. There are separate areas for different activities, so I could focus on weightlifting or swim laps without distractions. The environment is clean and inviting—definitely a plus when you’re just trying to maintain your routine on the road. If you're traveling to this area, I can't recommend the Cottonwood Recreation Center enough. With affordable daily pass options and all the amenities you could ask for, it's a fantastic place to stay active and maybe even make a few new friends along the way. So if you find yourself in town, consider checking it out—you might just enjoy it as much as I did!
Safe travels, and happy workouts!
